Beets and Elderberry make this Creme Scrub unique. As many of you know exfoliation is a very important step in skincare - see more below (1). Based on my research I found that Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) the main ingredient in this scrub is an active ingredient in anti-aging because they’re a type of flavonoid called Betalain similar to it’s sister Anthocyanin as it does the same thing. Flavinoids are a class of compounds with antioxidant effects. Betalains fill in the gaps of the cells + give a firm, robust, glowing nature at any age. They stimulate cell production + repair your skin. Elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.) is a widely disseminated plant that produces bright black berries containing high quantities of anthocyanins, acknowledged for their bioactivity and dye capacity. Anthocyanins are thought to be natural sun protectants as well as having antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
(1) I couldn’t recommend weekly exfoliation enough because in short a regal exfoliating routine can leave your skin looking glowy, dewy, fresh, + overall more healthy. Proper exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Naturally our skin sheds dead skin cells to make room for new skin cells every 30 days or so. By removing the outer layer of dead skin cells we uncover fresh new skin cells below. This opens up a pathway for moisturizing products to penetrate deeper into your skin which in turn makes them more effective.

My Experience: A rich and decadent texture, much thicker than I initially thought it would be. It's all natural and has a beautiful vibrant color. This scrub smells like a fresh fruit basket that's full of organic goodness. It's scent is very aromatic and pleasing to the senses. The grains of the caolin clay act as micro exfoliants. I very carefully use the scrub in circular motions making sure to be gentle to prevent any irritation. Once I exfoliate I leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes, wipe it off with a warm washcloth, rinse with a gentle gel cleanser and do my normal anti-aging skincare routine. It has active ingredients that have beneficial properties that enliven and brighten skin. Using this scrub will brighten your day as it's a real feel good product. I won't be repurchasing this scrub but enjoy having it as an option in my skincare collection.
Personal Note: These days I try to keep away from physical scrubs when possible and make sure to be very gentle during the application process to prevent tugging of the skin. In my personal experience I've noticed that my skin is extremely sensitive and fickle 10 days before my menses. For that reason I only use coconut oil during certain times in the month because I like to avoid any ingredients that tend to cause breakouts. Coconut oil is one of those things that causes a break out for me .... I've also found that many people have sensitivities to coconut oil. If it seems to irritate your skin pay attention to what your body is telling you. (1)
(1) When do you break out in your cycle?
According to a study published in the Archives of Dermatology, 63% of acne-prone women experience these premenstrual flares. They usually strike about seven to 10 days before the onset of a woman's period and then subside as soon as bleeding begins.

This exquisite Succulent Cell Hyaluronic Serum is packed full of highly concentrated long and short chain hyaluronic molecules to provide intensive hydration and work against fine lines and wrinkles. Because it can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, it aids hydration and actually plumps up skin. Infused with the infamous Pseudoalteromonas Ferment that increased Collagen 128% in 15 days in in vitro studies. A must have for more supple looking skin.
KEY INGREDIENT - HYALURONIC ACID: Hyaluronic acid’s moisture-binding characteristic is exceptionally important when it comes to skin aging. When we’re young, our skin can hold onto water and retain a balanced amount of moisture, but it loses this ability as we age. The result is a visible loss of firmness, pliability, and a diminished appearance of plumpness and suppleness. Hyaluronic acid has powerful anti-aging properties.
INGREDIENTS - Rosa Damascena (Rose) distillate, Jasminum (Jasmine) sambac distillate, Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang) distillate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Distillate, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Water, Hyaluronic Acid, Pseudoalteromonas Ferment.
Review: Unfortunately, this serum wasn't a good match for my skin type. The fragrance was a little too strong for me and on one occasion caused redness and inflammation. I'd like to note that finding the right skincare is a process and we can't be quick to judge a product based on one experience. For that reason I'd like to try it once more to make a final decision because there are many variables that come to play with determining if the serum in a good match for my skin type.
Skincare like most things isn't a one fits all situation and most of the time there isn't just one solution that contributes to glowing skin. It takes a true commitment to yourself to invest time and self love into your daily wellbeing.
